This Privacy Policy governs the manner in which Private Security Professionals of America (“PSPA”, “We” or “Us”) collects, uses, maintains, and discloses information collected from users (each, a “User”) of the website (“Site”). This Privacy Policy applies to the Site and all products, goods, and services offered by PSPA.

Personal Identification Information

We may collect personal identification information from Users in a variety of ways, including, but not limited to, when Users visit our site, register on the site, place an order, subscribe to ancillary services, respond to a survey, fill out a form, and in connection with other activities, services, features or resources we make available on our Site. Users may be asked for the following, which includes, but is not limited to: name, email address, mailing address, telephone number, and credit card information. We adopt appropriate data collection, storage and processing practices as well as security measures to protect against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure or destruction of Users personal information, username, password, transaction information and data stored on our Site.

We make limited data (member information) available through the Site’s on-line “Membership Directory” for viewing by other members of the Site. In the event PSPA is ever sold, we reserve the right to transfer ownership of our e-mail list and other personally identifiable information to the acquiring company. Should this happen, we will instruct the new owners to contact Users via e-mail to notify Users of the change.

Credit Card Information

We do not disclose credit card account information provided by applicants, members, or customers other than during times of payment transactions. When applicants, members, or customers choose to pay using a credit card, we submit the information needed to obtain payment to the appropriate third-party clearinghouse. All credit card transactions are secured by industry-leading SSL encryption.

Please note we do not store credit card information in our database or on our Site.

Users may find advertising or other content on our Site that link to the sites and services of our partners, suppliers, advertisers, sponsors, licensors, and other third parties.
